The Railway is situated in Buxton a busy Spa town and is described as the Gateway to the Peak District. It is located close to the County boundary with Cheshire to the West and Staffordshire to the South. We are situated 5 minutes walk from the Railway station and the main shopping centre. The pub offers great pub food with a 2 for £9 menu on selected items from the Main menu, also we offer a Golden Years menu for the over 60s, a childrens menu and also special boards, tea and coffee is available all day. Our fantastic Carvery on Sunday has just won BEST CARVERY IN BUXTON AWARD, this is served 12 til 6pm. We have a good selection of Cask ales available including Abbott ale and Old Speckled Hen We also have a great function room to hire for up to 150 people for that Special Occasion a Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary or Retirement, whatever the occasion we can accommodate you to make it SPECIAL. Also available for business meetings. Our Facilities include Free Wi-Fi access, ATM machine, Wheelchair Access, Disabled Toilet, Baby Changing (in Disabled). Children are always Welcome through until 9pm when dining.
